Free Conference by InstructureCon on the use of Canvas functions.

July 14 @ 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Colleagues,

Below you will find information about the up-coming InstructureCon (i.e., the conference from the folks who created Canvas).  This is a free, virtual conference that will be held throughout the day on 14 July (with a lot of the sessions being presented on demand so that you don’t have to login at a specific time).  Some of the sessions that jumped out to me as ones that might hold interest for our faculty included:

  • Make an Impact: Communicating when no one reads email
  • More than Busy Work–Utilizing Discussions for Transformative Education
  • Leveraging Canvas to Build Relationships with Students
  • Making Groups Work: Strategies for Successful Group Activities
  • The Role of Canvas (LMS) in Effective Hybrid Course Design, Including Clinical Simulation, within a Doctoral Level University Healthcare Program
  • Beyond the Classroom: Non-traditional Uses of Canvas
  • Sample the Secret Sauce of Implementation Success: Lessons Learned amidst the Great Disruption to Higher Ed
  • and many others…

So take a few moments to register for this free event, look through the agenda, and then take in a session or two as you are able to on 14 July (and my guess is the archive will remain available after that date).
